Early on a mild, partly sunny Friday afternoon, part of the consist for the Friends of the 261's 2022 "Gourmet Express" sits near the former Milwaukee Road Hopkins depot for the rest of the train to be ferried out from Minneapolis by the Twin Cities and Western (PTC requirements on the BNSF portion of the route from Minneapolis Junction currently requires the Friends to have a PTC-equipped TCWR engine pilot the train through that.) |
