While waiting to catch sight of the Amtrak Missouri River Runner, we heard the distinct whistle of a local on the branch line running on the north side of the Amtrak station.

We were told by a waiting Amtrak passenger that there is a cold storage facility just up the spur that UP runs frequent locals to on a nearly daily basis. Not sure how accurate that is but explains this local.
