Album Info:This year, BNSF was running an employee appreciation train with its private cars for all its employees and friends. Thanks to my very good friend Ken Hyfill, I wound up with one of the friend tickets! We went on the Thursday night ride--it nearly got cancelled due to the flooding, then it was supposed to go to Gardner, Kansas-ultimately, it went southwest to Reading, near Emporia. But that was OK! The ride was 2.5 hours, the cars were very comfortable, and we saw some nice scenery! It was an awesome evening!
