David Barrentine	General	I wonder if the boards were used as a foundation? So you would be able to walk inside for maintenance? Reminds me of a bridge on the old Hartford & Slocomb line. Old structure found
This old structure was found about 3 miles north of Ft Gaines GA. The structure once carried the tracks of the Central of Georgia over this small stream. It was tall enough that I could nearly walk upright through it. What would be the purpose of the boards at the bottom of the stream bed??? Erosion control??
