Seaboard Coast Line #762966 at the south end of a long line of camp cars on the Outside Track
Seaboard Coast Line #762966, plainly painted for "Roadway Service" and "Welder Car", sits directly across from the agent's office at the depot. Car was built in 1948 as Seaboard Air Line #22771 and rebuilt for Roadway Service in 1972

I barely remember these camp cars at Roanoke when I was younger. This is a very historical shot, I wish I had been shooting back then.
