| This westbound MidSouth Rail train was facing south in the railroad’s Vicksburg yard, as seen from the Lee Street Bridge. The train consisted of GP10 1082, GP9 9002, GP10 1028 and GP18 1801 with 61 cars. It would head south one mile and then turn west (right) to cross the Mississippi River into Louisiana. The main line east to Jackson is on the embankment on the left. |
