| Ten old General Electric locomotives were parked at the north end of the Wabtec test track, three miles north of the builder’s Fort Worth plant, waiting to be modernized. The units were Norfolk Southern C44-9W 9610, 9588 and 9590 with Union Pacific C44-9W 9771, 9643, 9609, 9821, 9833, 9655 and AC4400CW 5714. |
