Night Moves
Just before midnight, the CAGY Columbus Switcher is building a train in Columbus, MS under HWY 82. Two venerable EMD's hold the job down tonight. In years past this was a day time job and it was held down for almost 30 years by an ex SOU GP9, the CAGY 7o2. But times have changed. Still yet though, tried and proven EMD's still toil along this job. Normally for me, the last hour spent before bedtime consist tieing up loose ends before knocking off and heading to bed. Tonight was a different story. I got the luxury of hearing the sounds of EMD 645's before heading back to the motel before bedtime. Best frickin' lullaby ever.......
