Bauxite train K533 rumbles past its empty counterpart K532 at Eastside Yard in Philadelphia. This train is running along the ex-B&O Philadelphia Subdivision and this photo was taken on the exact 40th anniversary of the official date that the C&O and B&O became aligned in the Chessie System. Admittedly, its a bit of a stretch, but I think it adds a little history to the shot. |
