| The Perkiomen local passes the base of the old water tower which once served the steam locomotives that worked this line on their journeys up and down the mountain. The last steam to operate on this line was during the 1990s when the Blue Mountain & Reading ran excursions through here with 4-6-2 425 and 4-8-4 2102, brought up from their line in Hamburg. |
