MP Orleaneans
Shortly before they were discontinued on 11 March 1962, Missouri Pacific's eastbound and westbound ORLEANEANS were meeting at the Rock Island crossing in Eunice, Louisiana. Train Nos. 50 and 51 were about mid-way through their 367-mile trips between New Orleans and Houston. Nos. 52 and 53, the HOUSTONIANS, were the night trains on this route and continued to operate until 25 May 1967. (approximate date)
