#56 departs north with 9645 trailing. Cab cars are no longer used on the Vermonter now that the train runs through Holyoke, Northampton & Greeenfield, Mass instead of Palmer & Amherst which required a reverse move at the time. Also the 9645 no longer has a diaphragm or side door, the latter welded shut. |
