Classic photo of a crack 4-6-2 Pacific heading up a long string of varnish. Built by Alco-Richmond in March of 1906 (serial #38917) as # 153, this was a class F-15 Pacific on the C&O steam roster. Specs - 72" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 22x28" cylinders, engine weight of 211,000 lb, rebuilt in May 1924 with 23½X28 cylinders, 73" drivers, engine weight 237,400 lbs., tractive force 32,400 lbs., renumbered to #436 in January 1925, sold for scrap to Luria Bros. in October 1951.
