E-SLPBKM0-02 - Double Hopper Rear End Consist         
BNSF "Double Hopper" E-SLPBKM0-02 climbs out of the plains and onto the Caprock Escarpment at Buenos on the BNSF Slaton Subdivision. At Sweetwater, Texas standard practice is to combine two entire empty coal trains into one "Double Hopper" or "Mega Train" to save crew starts between Sweetwater and the Powder River Basin in Wyoming. This train is one such Double Hopper with BNSF SD70ACes 8757 and 9222 on the head end locomotive consist, BNSF SD70ACes 8574 and 9137, BNSF ES44AC 5907, and BNSF SD70ACe 8998 in the mid-train locomotive consist, and BNSF SD70ACes 8790 and 9018 on the rear locomotive consist.
