CP 2279 leads F17 into Brunswick, Maine at 11am with an empty perlite hopper. They are seen here at the Spring St. overpass. The area where Maine Eastern used to load passengers in the days prior to the station being built is now a new Park and Ride. It remains to be seen how 2022 will look for the Rockland Branch. The cement barge out of Rockland and subsequently the "cement shuttle" operation will cease at the end of the year. CP did send some loads out on 12/15 for Bay Colony's Millis line like what was done once or twice a month prior to 2019. |
