This caboose has the same appearance as UP's CA-11 series cabooses. Note the slanting window treatment - was told by a former conductor, it was better at keeping rain water from flying inside the caboose. Don R. Halffield Sr slide

Tom Beckett General UP still has some of these kicking around the system. There's one at Pryor OK(former MKT) that's used as a shoving platform in the adjacent industrial park, for crews to use when protecting the sometimes long back up moves there. 1/15/2022 3:34:58 AM
