NJT 4503 sporting a custom wrap that was paid for by Atlas Tool Company to celebrate their 100th anniversary, pushes Train 5516 east at "RA"/"BOYD:" tower to Newark. This locomotive was on one of four train sets NJTransit was using on this lovely summer Saturday. Atlas has been importing model trains and things like track, locomotives, freight and passenger cars. Atlas is doing a run of these Bombardier ALP45DP locomotives. I believe they are doing this paint scheme on the locomotives and passenger cars. They are also doing the standard NJTransit paint scheme on locomotives and cars and they are also doing the only other railroad to buy these, AMT (Agence métropolitaine de transport) which is now EXO aka Réseau de transport métropolitain (RTM). The railroad operates trains out of Montreal. You can pre order the equipment, however, some are already sold out. The locomotives are pricey at $179.95 for the master silver and $289.95 for the master gold. The master silver set which is one locomotive, one multilevel coach and one multilevel cab car is $384.85, but its sold out. The master gold set, NJT 4503, one multilevel coach and one multilevel cab car is $494.85, a three pack of master multilevel cars is $299.85 and is sold out. At any rate, these models are too rich for my blood, so I will have to settle for photos of the real thing.
