After being sold by the BRW in 1968 to private owners, it passed through several owners, one being rr photographer Don Ball Jr. before landing at Steamtown in Scranton, PA. This is one of only two remaining DL&W steam locos to survive with this one back on its home turf at Scranton. This photo is still while it was a Black River & Western loco. Date is approximate. |

Looking as it if has been wrapped for winter storage while at Black River & Western RR, this little Mogul finally ended up at Steamtown in Scranton. Until a sudden halt due to red tape paperwork in Sept 2013, this loco was undergoing restoration by volunteers at Scranton.
