Poor quality original photo of this 1928 Baldwin built Berkshire spotted here in the Erie yard in Hammond, IN, by reknown photographer, Max Miller. Specifics - class S3, 70" drivers, 250 psi boiler pressure, 28.5x32" cylinders, engine weight of 457,500 lb, tractive effort of 78,904 lb. All in this class were scrapped between 1950-52.
